DIXFIELD and MEXICO — Local authors Anne Morin and Angelo Kaltsos will hold two public book signings and readings.

The two will be at the Dixfield Ludden Library from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at 42 Main St.

They will also appear at the Mexico Public Library from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, at 56 Rumford Ave.

All are invited to listen to the authors read from their works.

Morin will read from her medical science-based murder mystery “Experiment One: Murder in the lab” and a selection from her newest novel “Experiment Two: Murder in the Seaview.”

Kaltsos will read from his latest book “Music You Will Never Hear: A modern tragedy” and “The Boy Who Was Shanghied.”

Morin is a retired neuroscientist from the University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine and the VA Medical Center in California. She now teaches for the University of Maine and has the Mountain Spring Farm B&B in Rumford.

Kaltsos is a retired scientist who lives “off the grid” in Andover and has written eight books. He is also a well-known author and poet.
