AUBURN — There’s plenty of summer left and the city of Auburn plans to cram in a lot of fun over the next three days.
The first Summer Festival kicks off Friday and continues into the weekend at a variety of locations.
First up is a Red Claws Clinic at the Hasty Community Center, starting at 10 a.m. Following that, a whole lot of activities designed to maximize the joy of late summer.
The festival will feature a box car movie night, a disco skate, a carnival, a 5K trail run, a mini-golf tournament, a block party, fireworks, plus the usual summer fare: food tents, a beer tent and live music all over the place.
The festival winds down on Sunday.
For Summer Festival details, including a calendar of events, visit auburnmaine.gov/pages/government/summer-festival or contact the Auburn Recreation Department at 207-333-6601, ext. 2101.
