I am grateful to have a state Senator who makes every effort to attend local events, visit local schools and be involved in my community.

Sen. Eric Brakey has an incredible level of dedication to the community and he cares about the people who live here.

While lawmakers must spend part of their time in Augusta, when the Legislature is not in session they should be out in the community, connecting with those they represent. Brakey has been committed to doing so, and after I had a conversation with him at a community event, he helped me to resolve an issue I was having with the state government. That is true public service.

I am voting for Sen. Eric Brakey in November so I can continue benefiting from his dedication. I hope the people of Auburn, New Gloucester, Poland, Minot and Mechanic Falls will join me in doing so.
