Connie Caron and Dezaraé Walker

LEWISTON — Mrs. Dezaraé Walker and Ms. Connie Caron were united in marriage on Saturday, June 25, at 3 p.m. at the Franco American Heritage Center in Lewiston. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Christopher Dufour. Elemental blessing offerings were done by Roland Ridley, best man, Amber Ridley, matron of honor, Alyx Rios, son of the couple, and Danielle Wooster, friend of the couple. The happy couple hosted a dinner and reception immediately following the ceremony.

Dezaraé is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Himes of South Portland and the late Jacquelyn Pelletier Himes of Casco. She is the granddaughter of the late Chanel Pelletier of Casco, Hazel Clarke of Westbrook, the late Herbert Harmon of Waterboro, Lorraine Harmon of Sanford, the late Phillip Lawrence of Eustis and Vivian Lawrence of Eustis.

Connie is the daughter of the late Sheldon Caron of St. John Plantation and Donna Caron of Gray. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Bijolle and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Caron from St. John Plantation.

Dezaraé was escorted by her son, Christopher Joseph Kyle McDonald, and Connie was escorted by her mother, Donna Caron.

Amber Ridley of Lewiston served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Danielle Wooster of Lewiston and Brianna Bourgoin of Wales. The flower girl was Jordan Strout of Gray, Connie’s niece.

Roland Ridley of Lewiston served as best man. The couple’s children stood with Connie, Alyx Rios of Lowell, Mass., and Christopher McDonald of Greene.

Dezaraé is a graduate of Lake Region High School in Naples. She graduated from Capilo Institue in Augusta, with a degree in nail technology and now works at Perfect Image Salon and Spa in Auburn.

Connie is a graduate of Fort Kent Community High School in Fort Kent. She graduated from Northern Maine Community College in Presque Isle,  with an associate degree of in automotive technology and now works at Poland Spring Bottling Company in Poland.
