1939 – 2016

WESTFORD, Mass. — Rosaire (Ross) E. Morin, 76, a resident of Townsend, Mass., died Wednesday, Aug. 10, at the Westford House following a long illness.

He was born in Barnston, Quebec, on Nov. 18, 1939, the son of Ernest P. and Alice D. (Beaudin) Morin. Ross moved to Lewiston in 1952 with his family. He was a graduate of St. Dominic High School, Class of 1960 and after working several years, he enrolled in Bentley University, graduating with a degree in accounting in 1968. He had a long career as a corporate comptroller for various companies, retiring from Chalet Suisse International in 2000. For many years, he also worked as a tax preparer in the southern New Hampshire/northern Massachusetts area. After retirement, he and his wife Priscilla relocated to Lewiston to care for his mother. In recent years, he moved to the Middlesex area of Massachusetts to be closer to family.

He enjoyed camping trips with his family, tending to an ever-growing garden, and traveling with friends. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Priscilla (Blood) of Townsend, Mass.; four daughters, Lisa Morin and her husband, Todd Allen, of Lee, N.H., Susanne Morin of Kennebunk, Celeste Misodoulakis and her husband, Greg, of Lakeville, Mass., Janice Baker and her husband, Tom, of Auburn, N.H.; three stepchildren, Robin Benjamin and her husband, Bob, of Milford, N.H., Sharon Hackler and her husband, Will, of Townsend, Mass., and Scott Stewart and his wife, Brenda, of Fitchburg, Mass. He is also survived by his sisters, Louise Letourneau and husband, Emery, of Nampa, Idaho; Denise Flonc of Monroe, Conn.; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his grandson, Gregory G. Misodoulakis.
