1922 – 2016
SOUTH PARIS — Marjorie E. Roberts, 94, of Mechanic Falls now rests in the arms of her Lord and Savior, having passed away on Sunday, Aug. 7.
She was born in Lisbon, N.H. on Feb. 15, 1922, the daughter of Earl and Louise Aldrich Clark. She graduated from Lisbon High School and married Herbert Roberts. She had been employed as a med tech at the Marcotte Home and d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston for a number of years. She was a member of the Advent Christian Church. In her earlier years she enjoyed gardening. When living at Bucknam Oaks in Mechanic Falls she made custard pudding for everyone.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Lenahan and her husband, Francis, of Mechanic Falls; stepdaughter, Carolyn Davis of Wilmington, N.C.; stepson, Kenneth Roberts of Falmouth; sister, Jeannie Cornell of Lyndonville, Vt.; nine grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert on March 23, 1996; a son, Dale in 1999; a daughter, Rhoda Rousseau in 2016; brothers, Kenneth Clark and Milton Clark; sisters, Shirley Sanborn and Maxine Sidelinger; and a stepson, Ernest.
