1942 – 2016

PORTLAND —Victor Joesph Richard, 73, of Rumford passed away Friday, Aug. 12, at Maine Medical Center in Portland, after a battle with heart disease.

“Vic,” son of Bliss and Amanda Richard is survived by his four siblings, Theresa, Leah, Gilbert and Albert; his wife, Theresa of 52 years; his three children, Stephen, Eric and Nancy; his two daughter-in-laws, Sonya and Mary Frances and three grandchildren Sean, Samuel and Halen.

He was predeceased by his three brothers, Norman, Omar and Edward.

Vic married his high school sweetheart and resided in Shelton, Conn., then later moved back to Rumford to open Dino’s Pizza. He worked there with his wife for 28 years before retiring in 2006.

He loved being with his family and friends, watching sports and attending his grandchildren’s sport events. He will be greatly missed by everyone.
