1953 – 2016

RUMFORD — Victoria P. “Tori” Thompson, 62, of Rumford died Monday, Aug. 15, at the Rumford Community Home.

She was born in Rumford on Sept. 12, 1953, the daughter of Walter and Lillian (Lobikis) Drakus and attended St. Athanasius school and received her GED from the Rumford High School.

She had worked at G.H. Bass & Co. and also for F.M.I. in Rumford and at J.A. Thurston Mill in Rumford. She was a Communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius – St. John Church, Rumford.

Survivors include daughters, Victoria (Drakus) Laurinaitis and husband, Raymond Laurinaitis, Anna Pettegrow, Samantha (Pettegrow) Porter and husband, Randal Porter; a brother, Walter J. Drakus and his wife, Patricia; four grandchildren; and several nephews and a niece, plus great-nephews.
