New Auburn Seniors Lobster Feed
AUBURN — The New Auburn Seniors will host the Lobster Feed at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19, at Sacred Heart Church.
The Lobster Feed is open to members who have paid their dues.
Cost for the meals will be $11 for a lobster bake meal; $9 for a lobster roll meal; $6 for a fried haddock meal; and $5 for a chicken finger meal.
Tickets will be available at New Auburn Seniors’ meetings, the next of which will be held Monday, Aug. 22.

Ladies Auxiliary seeks vendors
AUBURN — Ladies Auxiliary Unit No. 31, American Legion, is seeking crafters and vendors for the fifth annual Craft and Vendor Fair to be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Alden M. Gayton Legion Post, 426 Washington St. North.
Six foot tables will be rented for $15 without electricity and $20 with electricity. Tables are rented on a first-come basis.
Coffee and doughnuts will be provided to vendors and lunch items will be available for purchase for lunch.
The fair is open to the public.

Legion holding bottle drive
MONMOUTH — Post 204, American Legion, will have a fundraiser bottle drive from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 27.
The Legion trailer will be at Cumston Hall for those wanting to drop off bottles.
The Legion will also be driving around to homes for those who would like to donate bottles.
Funds raised will help with Legion scholarships, community outreach, memorial and educational missions as well as emergency assistance to local veterans and their families in distress.
New members are welcome.

Bridge club lists winners
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners at the Lewiston Armory on Aug. 15 were, first place in A and B, Paul Clement and Roger Labbe; second, Dick Allen and Richard Balian; third Pat Quinn and Nancy Lindgren; fourth, Eileen Potvin and Della Starbird; and second in B, Cindy Kirchherr and Jim Krainin.
Winners on Aug. 16 were, first/second tie, Paul Clement and Richard Balian with Les Buzzell and Mike True; third, Hazel Glazier and Marta Clements; fourth, Mike Quinn and Luke Merry.
Games are played at 9 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays in the Seniors’ Room at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. A partner is always guaranteed, and all bridge players are welcome.
