AUBURN — Jeanne B. Waning, 62, of Auburn passed away at home on Monday, Aug. 15.

Born in Connecticut, and a graduate of Bloomfield High, Jeanne moved to Maine with her family in the late ’60s and spent the remainder of her life living in the L-A area. She was employed at Tambrands in Auburn for more than 30 years, until her retirement in 2012. She counted many of her former coworkers as friends. In her retirement, Jeanne loved shopping and doting on her granddaughters.

Jeanne is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Urban K. Waning; her two sons, Ryan (and wife, Kate) and Chad, who grew up to be the men she raised; and her granddaughters, Addison and Hannah, who she loved like only a grandmother can.

She was predeceased by her beloved mother, brother, and sister; I hope they are all laughing together in the afterlife about how much I am struggling to find the right words. They all had such great laughs.
