1964 – 2015

PORTAGE, Mich. — Christine Adams Walker, 51, of Portage, Mich., left this Earth on Friday, Oct. 9, 2015.

Christine was born in Portland, on a Friday the 13th, in 1964 to Gary and Carole Adams.

She is survived by her son, Brandon Walker, who is serving in the U.S. Navy in Norfolk, Va.; and is also survived by her brothers, Glenn Adams from North Carolina, and Garrett Adams and his wife, Ranae, from Auburn.

She was predeceased by her infant brother, Geoffery.

She also enjoyed being Auntie to many nephews and nieces. Christine attended schools in Maine, including St. Dominic High School and graduated with an associate degree from Husson College.

The love of her life was working at the Portage Public Library as the marketing director and fundraiser. She had also held a position with Manpower, and the Kalamazoo Chamber of Commerce.

She was an active member of the Portage Rotary Club, also past president and member of AMBUCS.

Chris served as an ambassador of the Chamber of Commerce, and participated in many worthwhile causes. She was a member of the Valley Family Church, hosting small group studies in her home.
