1961 – 2016

LEWISTON — Patricia J. Menard, 54, of Lewiston passed away peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 24, at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion after her courageous battle with kidney failure and dementia.

The second-oldest of five children, she was born Dec. 26, 1961, in Rumford to Jeannine L. (Parent) Patten and Richard Menard.

Although she had many adventures, Patty spent most of her life living in Lewiston, the city she loved and felt most comfortable in. There, she raised her children whom she loved with her entire heart. Patty enjoyed cooking, trips to the ocean, arts and crafts and above all spending time with family and friends. She was also an amazing singer and truly loved playing her guitar.

Patty is survived by her children, Amanda Dedam and her partner, Anthony Costanzo, Joseph Menard (Stacey), and Jessica Frake (James); her brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Crookham (Jim), Richard Menard (Monina), Michael Menard and Jennifer Richardson (Donnie); her grandchildren, Ethan and Evan Roberts, Elijah and Lauren Frake and Ella Menard; and her nieces and nephews, Eric and Cory Pleau and John, Richard, Kathy and Peter Menard.

Patty is predeceased by her parents, Jeannine L. (Parent) Patten and Richard Menard.
