I have a healthy suspicion of politicians, but I trust state Sen. John Patrick. I have looked him in the eyes. I have shaken his hand. I have heard him speak about what he believes in. He is the real deal.
Patrick proudly calls himself a “labor Democrat.” He is in politics to defend the working people and the shrinking middle class. He understands that Maine’s hard-working families deserve a fair shot; he understands that when people who work 40 hours per week are still living in poverty, something needs to change. I trust that he will continue to fight for that change in Augusta.
Voters need to elect candidates to the Legislature here in Maine who will fight for ordinary people. John Patrick is one of those candidates. I hope others will join me in supporting him for state Senate in District 18.
