Season outlook: It’s been no secret that the Phoenix have struggled with the much tougher competition since joining the KVAC ranks. This year, there are a lot of promising young players on this team that should help the team significantly improve on last season. Spruce Mountain lost a veteran keeper, but Baker has shown herself more than ready to take over that position. While last season the Phoenix had trouble finding the net, summer play has seen several goal scorers step up, ready to fill that void. Playing as a team will be critical our success in this rebuilding year.
