RUMFORD — Graveside services for Mrs. Josephine E. Briggs of Rumford and formerly of Dixfield were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, at the Pineview Cemetery, Roxbury, with the Rev. John Gensel of the Dixfield Congregational Church officiating. The poem “Miss Me But Let Me Go” was read by granddaughter Andrea Logan. Words of remembrance were given by several family and friends. A reception followed at the home of her son David and Deborah Briggs in Byron. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford.
