PARIS — School Administrative District 17 Adult Education has announced its September classes.

Welding: 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning Sept. 20. Rudy Danforth will teach this seven-week welding class, designed for the hobbyist as well as those planning on entering the profession. Cost is $149.

Computerized Word Processing: 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning Sept. 21. Don Winckler will teach students to use word processing to create, revise, proofread and save documents. Cost is $45; software copies available for $85.

Painting and Seascape Painting: 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning Sept. 27. Sue Corning will teach students in this eight-week class to create acrylic paintings of wildlife, seascapes, lighthouses and ships. Cost is $58.

Electrical Wiring for the Homeowner: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning Sept. 28. Chris Summers will teach students in this 10-week class to wire a single outlet or their whole house. Class recommends “House Wiring” by G.F. Fletcher, available on Amazon.com.
