LEWISTON — The Oasis of Music, a free series of noontime concerts Wednesdays at Trinity Church, will begin its 2016-17 season Sept. 7.

Greg Boardman will be the kickoff performer, accompanying himself on guitar and singing “Songs of Love and Protest.”

On Sept. 14, pianist George Morrissette will present a program of classical music featuring Godowsky arrangements of pieces by Weber and Saint-Saens, and three short compositions by Bach.

John Smedley and Friends will play selections for jazz guitar Sept. 21, and violinist and composer Aaron Pettengill will return with classical music Sept. 28.
