LEWISTON — Marion E. Fowler, 86, a resident of Main Street in Bowdoin, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, at Russell Park in Lewiston.

She was born July 29, 1930, in Bowdoin, a daughter of Morris J. and Olga E. (Swanson) Skelton. She was educated in Bowdoin schools. She was married to Everett A. Fowler, who predeceased her Sept. 14, 1995.

Marion had worked at Healthtex Clothing Factory on two separate occasions and had also worked at Penmor Lithographers for a few years before retiring.

Marion was predeceased by her parents; and five brothers, Leonard, Reinhold, Lawrence, James and Charles Skelton.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda L. Dube of Bowdoin; a son, John A. Fowler and his wife, Judith, of Lisbon Falls; two brothers, George and Alfred Skelton; a sister, Lillian Robertson; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
