Taste of Greece Sept. 10
LEWISTON — A Little Taste of Greece festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, under the tent at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Hogan Road.
The church will be open for tours.
There will be Greek pastries, foods, desserts, coffee and other beverages. Entertainment will include Greek folk music and dancing, including lessons.
Items gathered over the past year will be for sale at the “agora” market. There will be vintage items, household items, art, books, toys, jewelry, furniture and decorative items.
Parking and admission are free. All are welcome.
Coping with Loss after Suicide
AUBURN — Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice will hold an ongoing peer-to-peer support group for adults who are coping with loss after suicide.
The group will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. on the second and fourth Monday of the month at 15 Strawberry Ave. There is no cost to attend. A one-time preregistration is required.

Cribbage league resumes games
LEWISTON — Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League began a new season of games on Sept. 1. Winners were, first place, Terry Chambers and Val Madore; second, Marie Madore and Lorraine Fillion; third, Dennis Gosselin and Roger Labbe; fourth, Richard Champagne and Dick Dennis; and fifth, Vicki Adams and Roger St. Pierre.
New players are welcome. The Seniors play on Thursdays at the Lewiston Memorial Armory.

Organizational Zen at APL
AUBURN — Auburn Public Library will tackle the problem of misplacing keys, glasses or wallets during Organizational Zen at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at 49 Spring St.
From big projects to everyday tasks, organizational expert Janie Downey Maxwell will help bring peace and order into the day as she talks about how to achieve “organizational zen.”
According to the US News and World Report, average Americans spend one year of their lives looking for lost or misplaced items.
Originally from Alexandria, Virginia, Maxwell now resides outside of Portland. She received a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Virginia. She is active in Portland area theater and has a published one-act play through Pioneer Drama.
