1950 – 2016
LEWISTON — Irene P. Ouellette, 66, a lifelong resident of Rosedale Street died at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, Sept. 5.
She was born in this same home on Jan. 27, 1950, a daughter of the late Theodore and Noella (Morin) Ouellette. She was educated in local schools and graduated from St. Dominic High School, Class of 1968.
Irene worked for many years at Campus Cuisine retiring in 2015. She was a member of Holy Cross Church. Irene enjoyed puzzles, watching TV especially her soap operas, traveling when she could, camping, going out to eat, shopping and reading. Her dry sense of humor will be missed by all.
She is survived by her three sisters, Jeannette Picard of Lewiston, Joline Guenette and husband, Ronald, of Lewiston, and Rachel Parent and her companion, Floyd Balliett, of Leeds; a brother Raymond Ouellette and his wife, Beatrice, of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by an infant sister, Doris; and a brother, Normand Ouellette.
The family would like to send a very special thank-you to the entire staff at Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice for the exceptional care given to Irene during her battle with cancer.
