1931 – 2016

AUBURN — Muriel G. Blouin, 85, formerly of Lafayette Street, Lewiston, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 7, at the Clover Health Care Facility following a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston, May 30, 1931, the daughter of William and Juliette (Poulin) Blouin.

Muriel loved going out to diner with family and friends and also enjoyed going to the ocean.

Survivors include one son, Gary Nauyokas and partner, Nick Shackell, of Turner; one granddaughter, Katie Pierce; and one grandson, John Nauyokas.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Blouin in 2008.

The family would like to thank the staff at Clover Health Care and Margaret Quinn of Androscogin Home Care for their wonderful care she received during her illness.
