DURHAM — Acacia Lodge will serve a benefit baked bean supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, on Route 136.

The supper benefits David Rice, who is receiving cancer treatment in Boston.

LOCKE MILLS — The Locke Mills Harvest Supper Dance will be from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the American Legion Hall. Doors will open at 4 p.m.

Shadagee Ramblers will perform music.

Cost: $12 to attend the supper and dance; $7 for supper; $5 for dance.

AUBURN — The Auburn Seniors Center will host a pancake breakfast for those ages 55 and older from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at the Hasty Community Center in Pettengill Park.

Cost: $5 per person.

NORWAY — The Second Congregational Church, UCC, will serve its free community supper with chicken from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at 205 Main St.

Each month for six and a half years, over 130 people have attended the free suppers sponsored by the church. All are welcome to eat and socialize.

MECHANIC FALLS — A haddock supper will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at American Legion Post 150, 41 Elm St.

Cost: $10.

HARRISON — Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church will serve it’s “famous” chicken pie supper at 5 and 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, on Bolsters Mills Road. If needed, there will be a third seating.

The church is wheelchair-accessible.

Reservations will be accepted between 9 a.m. and noon that day.

Cost: $10 for adults; $5 for children younger than 12.
