of Greene were honored on June 26 at a 50th wedding anniversary party at the home of their son, Matthew Mower, in Brunswick. The party was given by their three children, Melissa (and Ken Pratt) of Greene, Merrilee (and Mark Rohman) of Augusta and Matthew (and Erin Mower) of Brunswick.

The party was also attended by their six grandchildren, Kelsey and Natalie Rohman, Ashley and Ryan Pratt and Takoda and Tiras Mower, along with many friends and family, including two from the original wedding party.

Mr. and Mrs. Mower were married on June 11, 1966, at the Turner Federated Church in Turner Village by the Rev. William Ricker.

Mr. Mower retired from Fairpoint Communications after nearly 45 years and Mrs. Mower retired from Tri-County Mental Health Services. They have made their home in Greene for the past 50 years.
