JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Roger Joseph Gionet, age 83, formerly of Rumford, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 7, at his home in Jacksonville.

He was born in Rumford on Aug. 9, 1933, a son of Samuel and Eva (Doucette) Gionet.

Roger is survived by his daughter, Karen; a son, Jim; three grandchildren; and a sister, Lorraine Barre.
