1932 – 2016

CASCO — Nancy Lorraine Winslow passed away peacefully in her sleep early Monday, Sept. 26.

She was born Dec. 5, 1932, in Livermore, the youngest of 10 children born to Francis C. and Eva Briggs Drake. She was married first to the late Alfred E. Allen and then to the late Stuart Winslow.

She enjoyed fishing, dancing, gardening and especially her animals. During her working career, she ran her own business Tri-Elms Kennel and worked for many years as a veterinary technician in Dr. Gauger’s practice. She loved to teach line dancing and led the Razzle Dazzle Dancers troupe.

She is survived by her special friend, Ralph Gardiner; her sisters, Myrtle (Terri) Bennett and Rosella Walker; her daughter, Helen Brown; her son, Vaikko and his wife, Nicky; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
