AUBURN — Central Maine Community College will host its annual Fall Open House for prospective students and their families from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 15, at 1250 Turner St.
There will be representatives from all academic programs, student organizations and athletics. Staff members and students will be ready to assist with the admissions and financial aid application processes.
Students who complete an admissions application at the open house will have their application fee waived. Refreshments prepared by culinary arts students will be served.
The open house will occur during CMCC’s Alumni Weekend, which will feature a number of athletic events open to the public. Alumni basketball games will be held in the Kirk Hall gym on Friday evening, starting with the women’s game at 5:30 p.m. On Saturday, women’s and men’s soccer games vs. the College of St. Joseph’s will be held on campus at 1 and 3 p.m., respectively. The inaugural game for the hockey team will get underway at 3 p.m. at the Norway Savings Bank Arena. The Mustangs will take on Dartmouth College in two games, with the second match on Sunday morning at 10 a.m.
