NORWAY — Betsy Parsons, administrative coordinator for the Maine Unitarian Universalist State Advocacy Network, will lead the worship service at First Universalist Church of Norway at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, at 479 Main St.

Her topic will be “Living Our UU Values through Legislative Ministry.”

Parsons, a member of the Allen Avenue Unitarian Universalist Church in Portland, will address what it means to approach legislative issues from a faith-based perspective. She will discuss the four network-endorsed initiatives on the Nov. 8 ballot and the opportunities it provides to give voice to UU values in the public square.
