LEWISTON — The YWCA Central Maine will offer its first Spooky Family Fun Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.

There will be two spooky walks available, including one for young children and another for the more-daring guests, as well as games, prizes and a craft table. Halloween-themed lunches will be available for $5 for children and teens, $7 for adults, or $17 for an entire family.

During “Hallo-weekend,” visitors can take part the Escape Room Challenge, a real-life puzzle that must be solved in one hour. The challenge begins as participants become trapped in the mad scientist’s lair. Exploring the room will lead to a series of clues that must be deciphered in order to find the keys to escape.

Time slots for the challenge are available for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 28-30. Cost is $15 per person, and groups will consist of between two and six people. Groups under six may share space with other small groups. The activity is for ages 12 and older.

FMI, reserve time: 207-795-4050.
