The Kora Temple Shriners are celebrating 100 years since 23 men from Lewiston, Auburn and Turner founded their organization. About 5,000 men in 23 units south of Waterville now keep it going. On Oct. 12, one the first units, the Lewiston-based Kora Arab patrol unit, which is a precision drill team, will celebrate its own centennial with an evening of dinner theatre open to the public. The unit takes its name from the Arabic style of drill it continues to follow.
