I am very disappointed in the vote by the selectmen of Sabattus, except for Jean-Paul Curran, who was the only one thinking of the taxpayers. I offer my thanks to him for that.

What happened to the extra $5,000 Homestead exemption the state gave the town this year to help the taxpayers? Oh, I know — the town and School Department got it.

When are taxpayers going to get a break from the town and School Department? Plus, the Water District went up in cost; also the Sewer Department.

Does it ever end?

Sabattus is a nice little town but the taxes are out of control.
