The winner of the first presidential debate is America.
While neither candidate was able to sway voters, according to polls and focus groups, Donald Trump was able to hang in there and did not implode (in spite of moderator Lester Holt’s inappropriate questions and comments). Trump probably cemented the support of many of his “deplorables”and maybe some independents.
In other words, Trump now has a good chance of becoming the next president. His chances will improve in the next few weeks and after the next two debates as Benghazi, the emails and health issues are aired.
A Trump presidency will see job growth, lower taxes, immigration reform and the death knell of Obamacare — all good things for this country — none of which are on Hillary Clinton’s agenda.
It will be fun to watch.
Good luck, America.
