1956 – 2016

DOUGLASSVILLE, Pa. — Anthony C. Stevens, 60, of West Paris passed away Sunday, Oct. 2, in Douglassville, Pa.

Anthony was born June 11, 1956, in Lewiston, the son of William Stevens Sr. and the late Freda (Herrick) Stevens. Anthony attended Oxford Hills High School, and received his GED. He served in the U.S. Army with an honorable discharge and then attended the University of Maine and received an associate degree in mechanical engineering. He had a long career of mechanical engineering, starting with Ted Walker and ending with Raynor Industries before retirement. Anthony was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

In addition to his father, he is survived by three daughters, Quinn Sandner and husband, Nickoli, Maggie Slater and husband, Michael, Kerry Panalone and husband, Jason; grandchildren, Daniel, Isabella, Molly, Joseph and William; sister, Sharon Robinson (Randy); brothers, Daniel, Randall (Marie), James (Sukie), William (Shelly) and Gregory (Kandi); and many nieces and nephews.

Anthony loved family time. He made many trips back and forth from Maine to Pennsylvania. He loved learning about local history, watching Turner Classic Movies, looking for good deals with antiques and was an avid collector of nostalgia. He was known for his baking talent which he got from his mother. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and especially his little pumpkin.
