JAY — Laughs and Apps, a six-comic showcase, is set for Saturday, Oct. 15, at Lafleur’s Family Restaurant, 224 Main St.

Ben Roberts of Leeds will be the host for the showcase. He assembled a lineup of R.A. Sweeney, Angela Merrill, Sam Pelletier, “Big Bob” Glancy and Mike Johnson.

“Big Bob” is coming up from Kittery, sharing humor from his iron-working days in New York City. He even worked at Ground Zero. Glancy was recently seen in “The Comedy Kitchen” with Dennis Wirth.

Mike Johnson is the headliner. Originally from Waterville,  he is living in Portland after doing comedy in Chicago for several years. He has been active doing shows from York to Madison and recorded an album, “Mainetainin,” at Live@212 in Westbrook.

Admission is $15 and includes an appetizer.
