The carpetbaggers have arrived. It must be an election year.

There is an elitist billionaire hypocrite throwing his money around in the name of safety. While Michael Bloomberg spends his money to disarm the citizens of Maine, he struts around with bodyguards armed with guns. He thinks his life is worth protecting, but not other people’s. He wants to make Maine just like New York.

According to Law Street Media, New York is one of the most dangerous states in the U.S. while Maine is the second safest.

Ads run by Bloomberg’s drones are full of innuendos and half-truths. They would have people believe that anyone can easily walk into a gun show or go online now and buy a gun without a background check. You can’t. Every gun dealer at every gun show is required to do a background check. Any gun ordered online is shipped to a licensed dealer who runs a background check.

Bloomberg’s ads throw around statistics that don’t apply in Maine. They would have people believe criminals are coming to Maine to buy guns to go back to their states and commit crimes. It’s odd that these same guns aren’t being used in crimes in Maine.

Make no mistake about it. This is not about safety. It is about control. It is not about background checks. It is about registration.

All gun owners and freedom-loving Americans need to vote “no” on Question 3 and send those carpetbaggers back to New York.
