Ride to benefit #TeamBud
LEWISTON — William J. Rogers Post 153, American Legion, will host the Fall Foliage Ride to benefit retired Auburn Police Officer Bud Caouette.
Caouette is fighting pancreas cancer and the funds raised will assist his family with the cost associated with the illness.
The ride will leave L-A Harley at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15.
MCHP holding 2 open houses
LEWISTON — The Maine College of Health Professions will host open houses on Wednesday, Oct. 19, and Saturday, Oct. 22, at MCHP 70 Middle St.
The open house Wednesday is from 5 to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon.
MCHP offers degree programs in nursing, radiologic technology, and nuclear medicine technology. It offers certified nursing assistant and computed tomography certificates.
The event will feature student-led tours, demonstrations of nursing and imaging simulation equipment, and information about programs, financial aid and admissions.
Light refreshments will be served.
