In her letter (Oct. 9), Joan Villani says “They should give ‘the Donald’ a chance. What do we have to lose?” I can answer that — our respect as a nation and a lot more.
Why would anyone want to see Donald Trump in the White House? The man has no scruples, no integrity and no morals. He is vindictive, mean-spirited, brags about sexual escapades and doesn’t have a clue about much of anything, as witnessed by his many bankruptcies.
As for Villani’s remarks on President Obama, it is clear she is a victim of right-wing propaganda. When Obama took over from George W. Bush, the U.S. unemployment rate was near 12 percent; now it’s less than 5 percent.
I could go on, however, Villani needs to check her facts as her letter is full of right-wing propaganda and, well, more right-wing propaganda.
Some people will believe anything.
