It is critical that Livermore Falls citizens attend a special town meeting Tuesday, Oct. 18, to hear the facts before voting on the fire station. In his letter to the editor (Sun Journal, Oct. 13) Scott Roberts mentioned a figure of $450,000. That is no longer a viable option. The vote for the new fire station has already passed. This vote is for the funding, only.
Firefighters need the support of the town. I urge residents to attend, hear the facts and vote.
Louise Chabot, chairman, Livermore Falls Board of Selectmen
