Church to host Fall Festival
OXFORD — The public is invited to Fall Festival from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Hosanna Church, 109 Schoolhouse Road.
There will be free carnival games, prizes and food for sale.
Door-to-Door Halloween
FARMINGTON — Edgewood Rehabilitation and Living Center and Orchard Park Rehabilitation and Living Center will hold their door-to-door Halloween event from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29. It will not be held on Halloween as usual.
This event is for newborns to those in grade six.
Harvest Festival Oct. 29
FARMINGTON — Farmington Baptist Church will host its annual Harvest Festival from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at 194 Whittier Road.
This is a family event with fun for all ages. There will be popcorn, candy and punch, a bounce house and lots of games.
Non-scary costumes are welcome.
Hillside Sports Pumpkin Walk
LIVERMORE FALLS — Hillside Sports Club will hold its annual Pumpkin Walk from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Area Youth Sports building, formerly the Livermore Falls High School building.
The club will accept donations of unwanted Halloween decorations.
Pumpkin carving will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the pumpkins will be hollowed out and ready to carve.
Participants are encouraged to come in costume. There will be goblins, themed activities and food, including hot, mulled or cold apple cider and hot chocolate.

Halloween Festival at PPL
PARIS — The Paris Public Library’s annual Halloween Festival will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.
Children in the community are invited to the library to participate in a variety of ghoulish games, including a spider web walk, creepy crafts and, of course, candy. Halloween stories will also be shared. Costumes are encouraged but are not required.

Rabies clinic in Peru
PERU — The Town of Peru will hold its rabies clinic from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Town Garage, 85 Peru Center Road.
Halloween Story Hour in New Sharon
NEW SHARON — The Jim Ditzler Memorial Library will have a Halloween Story Hour from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.
Children are encouraged to come in costume. Prizes will be awarded for the scariest, funniest, most colorful, fanciest, cutest and most original costumes.
Children can listen to Halloween stories, make a Halloween craft and have a snack.

Auction for Special Olympics team
PARIS — A Chinese auction to benefit Team Momentum for Special Olympics will be held Saturday, Oct. 29, in the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School cafeteria.
Doors will open at 11 a.m., and the auction will start at 1 p.m.
Food will be available for purchase.
