AUBURN — The Auburn Democratic City Committee will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Auburn Hall.

Sheriff Eric Samson will speak on the Maine sheriffs’ opposition to referendum Question 3 on background checks for gun transfers.

Candidates for the Nov. 8 elections will also address the committees.

Parking is available in the garage behind Auburn Hall. Use the courtyard entrance and take the elevator to the second floor.

All Auburn Democrats are urged to attend city committee meetings the fourth Tuesday of each month. Refreshments are served and visitors are welcome.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item for the Trinity Jubilee Center pantry. Call 740-0113 with any questions.
