AUBURN — Cafe LA will host its bi-weekly Comic Showcase at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at 49 Spring St.

Ben Roberts of Leeds will host.

Auburn native Owen Kane of Portland is coming home to do his laundry, raid his mother’s fridge, and kick off the night of laughs.

Noreen Lacoy of Lewiston, fresh off her first gig as host at LIVE at 212 in Westbrook, will keep things going.

Ryan Gorman, the first of two comics from New Hampshire on the bill, will also perform.

Green Mountain Comedy Fest regular Sam Pelletier of Lewiston will feature with Pat Bolduc of Portland.

Bolduc has no problem with crowd work or landscaping. He hosts open mics at Brian Boru’s in Portland and has recently done shows in New Hampshire, most recently at The Stone Church, where headliner Josh Day hosts comedy twice per month.

Day, the second performer from New Hampshire on the bill, has performed in the past three Maine Comedy Festivals and most recently the 2016 Boston Comedy Festival. His show at the Stone Church in Newmarket, New Hampshire, has been going for four years. He has opened for Dave Attell, Ben Kronberg and Juston McKinney.

Space is limited, and reservations are recommended by calling 207-784-2300.
