Churches in Maine have been requested to pray for peace and to ring their bells for two minutes at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, to remember veterans that have served the country.

This is a project of the AMVETS Department of Maine, American Legion Post 22, American Legion District 3 Androscoggin County, Franco American War Veterans Post 31, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 11 of Maine, L/A Maine Military Community Network and the L/A Veterans Council.
