Bruce Poliquin brags that he managed the pensions for Bath Iron Works. It is obvious from his advertisements that he is trying to make a personal connection to BIW and its people.

But he was on Wall Street, where he created a pension system that boosted profits for the company and made millions for himself at the employees’ expense — money used to fund his political career. A lot of my friends received pensions that were barely enough to live on.

Now Poliquin is in Congress and his record is the same. He votes to help his financial buddies who give him thousands of dollars in campaign support.

Poliquin’s connections to BIW are not pleasant ones for me and many others there. I work there, so take it from me — we know Poliquin. He works for himself and no one else.
