CONCORD, N.H. — Gas prices have stayed about the same in northern New England over the last week.

GasBuddy shows that the average retail price stayed the same in Maine went down half a cent, to $2.27 a gallon. In Vermont, prices went up 1.1 cents to $2.29. Prices in New Hampshire stayed the same at $2.18 a gallon.

The national average of $2.20 has fallen 2 cents a gallon in the last week. It stands 2.8 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
