The Every Student Succeeds Act is a bipartisan bill that was passed by Congress and signed into law in December 2015. This law replaces the No Child Left Behind Act and is the first bill in decades to narrow the federal government’s role in elementary and secondary education and, instead, increase the flexibility and authority of the state. It is more critical than ever to have knowledgeable and experienced representatives in Augusta.
It is for that reason that voters in Lewiston’s District 59 should elect Roger Fuller to the Maine House.
Fuller’s decades of experience in education will be a valuable asset as the Legislature works to implement policies aimed at improving educational outcomes for all Maine students.
Peggy Rotundo has been a wonderful advocate for Maine students and teachers; Lewiston would be well represented by having Roger Fuller succeed her.
