1947 – 2016

AUBURN — Maxine P. Pride, 69, a resident of Sabattus, passed away peacefully Friday, Oct. 28, at the Hospice House, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Potsdam, N.Y., March 24, 1947, the daughter of James M. and Beulah (O’Connell) Spear. She moved to Maine at a young age where she grew up in Sabattus. Maxine was employed in the mental health field and was an avid card player.

Survivors include her son and his wife, Dana and Tina Pride of Sabattus; four grandchildren, Dustin, Heather, and Dana Pride and longtime boyfriend, Ryan Cloutier, Amanda Seguin and husband, Corey; also surviving is one great-granddaughter, Harper Seguin.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Darrin Pride.
