LEWISTON — Prince of Peace Parish at Holy Family Church will host a communitywide Veterans Day Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at Holy Family Church, 707 Sabattus St.

Area clergy will join together to commemorate the brave men and women in prayer and song.

This is the 13th year that Prince of Peace Parish will offer the We Remember and Give Thanks evening of reflection.

This community service is open to all, regardless of faith affiliation or denomination.

All active and inactive military and their families are invited to attend. Active soldiers living in the area or home on leave are urged to attend in uniform.
