1954 – 2016
PORTLAND — Wanda S. Pike, 62, of High Street in South Paris, longtime resident of Rumford, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Nov. 12, following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester, N.H., on June 4, 1954, the middle child of Warren and Patricia (O’Brien) Guptill. Wanda attended schools in New Hampshire and was a graduate of Goffstown High School. She married Ronald Pike in 1982 and together they celebrated 21 years of marriage. He passed away in 2003.
Wanda was a devoted wife and mother and was very involved in her church, Grace Fellowship in South Paris. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, doing crossword puzzles, playing Scrabble and chess. She most of all loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her father, Warren Guptill and wife, Mikki, of Manchester, N.H.; children, Genesis A. Pike and companion, Andrew Tibbetts, of Lewiston, Ginger Pike and companion, Ken O’Leary, of Turner, Matthew W. Pike and fiancée, Heidi Penley, of Rumford, Gracie L. Pike and companion, Anthony, of Carthage, and Phoebe P. Pike and companion, Jeff Roy, of Livermore Falls; two sisters, Brenda Oliver and husband, Gordon, of New Hampshire and Patricia Parkinson and husband, Rick, of Rhode Island; three grandchildren, Dante, Sophia and Warren; a niece, Tricia; two nephews, Eric and wife, Christina, and Josh.
She was predeceased by her mother; and her husband, Ronald Pike.
