AUGUSTA — The Maine Governor’s Energy Office says heating prices have settled in the state in recent weeks.
The office says the average price for heating oil fell a penny over the past week to $2.02 per gallon. Kerosene prices also fell 1 cent to $2.53 and propane prices remained the same at $2.29 per gallon.
The energy office says prices have stabilized after several weeks of price fluctuations.
Northern Maine had a higher average at $2.16 per gallon for heating oil. The highest heating oil price in the state was $2.25 per gallon.
The prices reflect a Nov. 14 survey.
