1935 – 2016

AUBURN — Robert “Bob” Cyr, 81, of Auburn passed away Monday, Nov. 14, at home with family.

Born June 7, 1935, he was the son of Edmund and Yvonne (Cailler) Cyr. He served in the U.S. Army — Operation Red Wing, was a member of American Legion Post No. 153, and was a founding member of St. Philip’s Church.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Fernande (Caron) Cyr; three sons, Marc and wife, Brenda, Dan and wife, Terri, David and wife, Kathleen; one daughter, Lisa, and husband, David Coburn; a brother, Leo Cyr, and wife, Rachel, of Lewiston, three sisters; Jennette Delisle and husband, John, of Arizona, Rita Hall of California, and Diane Delisle and husband, Bob, of Washington; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond and Paul.
