1942 – 2016

SACO — Ronald Raymond Cloutier, 74, formerly of East Hartford, Conn., died on Monday, Nov. 14, at his home.

He was born in Lewiston on Aug. 26, 1942, a son of the late Lucien and Adrienne (Martineau) Cloutier. He attended local area schools and graduated from St. Dominic’s High School in 1962.

Ron served his country proudly as a member of the U.S. Air Force from 1966-1968. He then spent 40 years working for Pratt Whitney in East Hartford, Conn.

He enjoyed spending time at Old Orchard Beach, where he vacationed while living in Connecticut. He loved Maine seafood and enjoyed lobster at his favorite restaurant, the Clambake in Old Orchard Beach.

Ron is survived by his brother, Roger Cloutier and his wife, Frances, of Lewiston; his nieces, Christina Mayberry and her husband, Steven, of Denmark, and Caryn Amadei of Lewiston. He also leaves a great-nephew, Adam Mayberry of Portland; and great-nieces, Tessa and Eliza Amadei of Lewiston; as well as his great friends, George Benson, Gene Pesta and Steve Knapik of East Hartford, Conn.

He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Robert Cloutier.
